Supplies we used:
W.M. Creations Sealer Pros-Aide Cream Silicone Mold Brush Spatula
We used a mold made of V1065 Tin silicone. These are sold at our shop and website, or you can make your own.
Brush on a thin layer of Sealer. Let dry. Then brush another layer on. Allow to dry. It won't take long.
If you don't use the sealer the Pros-Aide Cream will adhere to the mold.
Then spatulate the Pros-Aide Cream into the mold, making sure you get into all the crevices. Spreading to fill the ‘wound' but leaving a very thin layer of Pros-Aide leading out to the edges, so as to have a thin edge on your finished piece.
Let it dry. This will take a day or so depending on how deep the mold is. You can add a little heat to it, by using a slow oven or blow dryer.
You'll know it's dry when it becomes clear.
Brush on a top layer of sealer. Let dry and then pull out of the mold. To store it, powder a little with translucent powder and put in baggie.
To apply, just activate the back with 99% alcohol and glue on. These pieces are easy to paint. Alcohol activated makeups work great, also
Aquacolor, RMG, or creams.
To remove use alcohol to reactivate, powder and store as usual. You can reuse them if carefully removed.
