This is an all around "can do just about everything" alginate.

Alginate Retarder

Retarder is used to extend the setting time of alginate.
Results will vary due to water quality, temperature and concentration.
Please TEST before use. Retarder should be added to the water being
used before adding alginate and mixed thoroughly. Concentration
usage can very from .5% to 2% by weight (percentage of dry alginate)
Approximate times: add .5% add about 2 to 3 minutes, 1% about 6 minutes.

Alginate Mixing Bowls

Alginate Mixing Bowls are made from a high grade medical urethane
that doesn't contain any PVC. Great for mixing alginate or small
batches of plaster. The interior of the bowl has a 4-inch diameter
for ample mixing space. The inside of the bowl has a glossy surface
making alginate removal easy. Unlike imported bowls, there is no danger
of harmful plasticizers migrating from the plastic.
