This application is one which our Slip Latex Prosthetics are used.



We have 3 different kinds of Joker pieces. One is slush latex tinted red with white.
The second are foam latex, which makes them soft and 3 dimensional, more lifelike than just slushed latex pieces.
And a silicone set, which is the same material use by the Makeup Artist in the real Motion Picture, Dark Knight

How many times can you use a prosthetic? It really depends on the person who is applying and removing the piece. If you are very careful removing the piece you may be able to use it again. If you're lucky a third application is possible. If you have trouble removing the piece you might only be able to use it once.
After removal clean the piece well with an adhesive remover, such as Bond-Off, Super Solv or Agent X. Try to get as much old adhesive off the piece as possible. If you've used spirit gum, which we don't recommend for foam latex piece, then use spirit gum remover. When the piece is clean and dry powder it on both sides with talc or baby powder. Store it in a plastic bag away from light.

We suggest using a strong adhesive such as Pro Ahesive, Pros-Aide, or Beta Bond Plus. If you use one of these then you'll need a good remover such as Super Solv, Bond Off! or Agent X. You can use spirit gum and spirit gum remover, but it won't stay on as long and within an hour or so the spirit gum will dry up, crack and start to fall off. We know other places tell you to use spirit gum, but we're a professional company and know our adhesives and makeup.

Joker Silicone Prosthetics Quantity in Basket: none $24.00 Hand made by our artists at FX Warehouse, these flexible, skin soft Joker Smiles are top of the line. They are made of the same silicone used in the movie. They're internally pre-colored to make it easier to finish. We offer them with a small bottle of Pros-aide adhesive and Bond Off remover or Silicone Patch. The silicone patch is the same used in the movie. You mix it 50/50 and spread it very thin on the piece and attach it. It takes a few minutes for it to set up so you have a little time to make sure it's in the right place. Removal is easy, as it just peels off. The layer you used to apply is so thin that it does not build up the piece, and can be used again easily. If you use the Pros-aide adhesive, you need to place the piece before you apply. Using some powder on a puff and blotting around the edges will leave an outline of the piece and a guideline when using this adhesive. Brush on the piece and apply. Make sure it's in the right place, as you will not be able to move it once it's placed. Remove with Bond Off, and clean the piece for re-use. This application will leave the piece very sticky afterward, so a good cleaning is needed, powder the pieces and place in a baggy for future use. CLICK IMAGE TO PURCHASE
