Retarder is used to extend the setting time of alginate.
Results will vary due to water quality, temperature and concentration.
Please TEST before use. Retarder should be added to the water being used
before adding alginate and mixed thoroughly. Concentration usage can very from .5% to 2% by weight (percentage of dry
alginate). Approximate times: add .5% add about 2 to 3 minutes,
1% about 6 minutes.
